SPEAKER/PROGRAM
Ted introduced Chris Davis from Healthy Oxford Hills.  Chris reviewed the overall goals of Healthy Oxford Hills (HOH).  HOH is part of Western Maine Health and is the Healthy Maine Partners Coalition of the Oxford Hills Area.  They are funded by the Tobacco Settlement $$ the State of Maine receives.    There are twenty-eight Healthy Maine Partnership Organizations in Maine.  Their mission is to identify community health needs and offer programs to address them.  They are focused primarily on Nutrition, Physical Activity, Chronic Illnesses and Tobacco.  They use visioning sessions, surveys, focus groups and one on one contacts to measure the wellness of our community.  They are always looking to collaborate with other organizations that have similar missions.  For more information on Healthy Maine Partners you can visit the following website:  www.healthymainepartnerships.org
